Recently, our General Manager, Ben Whitteeven, and Head of Business Strategy, Josh Bolton, attended AUS SPACE 2025 in Sydney. Spanning two dynamic days, the event offered a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues, space experts and new friends. All while reinforcing the critical need for a resilient space domain. 

The energy throughout the event reflected a shared commitment for building for a sovereign space industry that's an active participant in the deterrent security focus across the IndoPacific with our US allies.

✅ LTGEN Susan Coyle AM, CSC, DSM and her exciting announcement (& introduction) of the JP9102 tiger team to review the next generation of multi-orbit constellations to meet the emerging needs of the space domain. 

✅ Honorable Scott Morrison made the compelling case for AUKUS Pillar 3 - to be focused on space in his opening Keynote Address 'Australia's role in an allied global Space network' followed by his contribution to the AUKUS panel calling for the uplift of the Australian sovereign industrial base as a key enabler for the success of the joint force. 

✅ Roosevelt 'Ted' Mercer, Jr, MAJGEN, USAF (ret) amplified the power of public - private partnership to stimulate economic growth at commercial pace. Virginia Spaceport Authority is guided by government but not hindered by constraints to deliver 'Space Domain Transformation'. An impactful insight for Australia to learn how to be a profitable space port in the future.
