At Crown, giving back to our community is a core part of who we are. This includes supporting local not-for-profit organisations that provides community value and social impact.
Recently, Crown’s parent company, CMDT Group, committed $10,000 to Menslink, an ACT-based organisation making a difference in the lives of young men.
Since 2002, Menslink has been supporting young men aged 10 to 25 years old in the Canberra region through their no-cost mentoring, counselling and education programs.
Combining professional expertise with real life experience, Menslink provides thousands of young men every year with a safe place to be open and honest, without judgement or labels.
In 2024 alone, Menslink delivered programs to over 13,000 boys aged 10-18 in schools across Canberra. Impressively, four out of five participants reported positive mental health outcomes. These programs are expanding to neighbouring country towns in 2025 and 2026.
According to Menslink CEO Ben Gathercole, these types of partnerships are essential:
“These partners not only provide direct financial or service support to Menslink, but they also help build awareness in the community about the work we do. This not only helps us attract volunteer mentors but may also let somebody in need find out about us. Thank you to CMDT Group for helping young guys in Canberra.”
CMDT Group CEO Brad Junk-Gibson said the organisation was proud to join as a key supporter of Menslink, who's purpose aligns with our core values:
"With a significant proportion of our organisation headquartered in Canberra, we can see the impact that Menslink has firsthand. We also know that as a veteran friendly employer, these types of services are vital for young men in our community."
We look forward to working alongside Menslink and watching their positive impact on young men in the Canberra region continue to grow.
