Hosted by the Women in Defence Association ACT in conjunction with the RASIGs Association ACT, the event celebrated the achievements and contributions of women in defence while promoting an ongoing dialogue around gender equity.

Thanks to keynote speaker Lieutenant General Susan Coyle for her insights on diversity and defence. With IWD falling on Saturday 8 March, our speakers urged us to #MarchForward to continue advancing the empowerment of women in Defence and Defence Industry.

"It was wonderful attending the IWD luncheon, hearing the thoughts of LTGEN Susan Coyle and the panelists was insightful. A fantastic group of inspiring women, doing inspiring things and sharing inspiring stories," says Jacqui.

This year’s IWD campaign theme is focused on the need to #AccelerateAction for gender equality. And here at Crown we're joining the pledge to #AccelerateAction to support and advance women.

In our organisation, we know that developing sovereign capabilities in the technology sector requires the input and collaboration of different thoughts and ideas.

We champion the women in our business and the industries we work with: defence, technology, government and others. We're proud to acknowledge their groundbreaking contributions today, and every day.
